Nicola is a graphic designer and artist born in Wales, raised on Chicago deep dish pizza and trained in the jungles of Borneo.
Nicola studied art from an early age and found it to be a great way of overcoming her shyness and utilising her bossiness. She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2009 having scored a first in her dissertation, better cooking skills and a superior ability to light a boiler in nothing but a towel.
Commissions from the BBC, Sideburn magazine and a victorious Dont Panic poster competition had Nicola finding her confidence after graduating and since then she has art directed a book for the BBC and produced illustrations for popular snowboarding magazine Whitelines, alongside building her own small business producing greeting cards and fabrics featuring her own designs.
Nicola’s work has been mentioned on the Guardian website, and her products have been featured in frankie magazine and on Urban Outfitters Blog.
She is currently looking to work with new clients, both large and small. If you are interested in commissioning her, or finding out more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
